I recently attended a conference, and at the technology pre-conference, one presenter suggested that blogging promotes extreme views. You must be an extremist to have a following. Personally, I think that’s absurd. Even though I may be passionate about my blogging subjects, that doesn’t mean that I post unexamined, narcissistic rants. I don’t plan to rant before thinking here, either, so I hope you’ll follow my journey at least until Election Day.
I am tired of having my politics filtered, perspectived (hmm, interesting verbage there, no?), and dried for me. I watch CNN daily, and maybe today was just a particularly bad day (which it was… I woke up with a migraine)… but a few things I heard today on CNN and elsewhere broke the straw on my camel back, so here I am world. I am someone who paid a big price for her education, lives in a small town, is trying to raise a family, and work, yada yada…. I think I make more sense than a lot of politicians, newscasters, and pundits, so I’m inflicting my opinions on cyberspace.
I already have a lot to say…
But first I must feed my daughter and watch the VP debate.
